The Elliot Family began around a kitchen table in Perth, with a handful of sketches and one simple wish: to dress the women we love in clothes that truly fit their lives. More than twenty years later, we are still a family-run boutique, and we still choose every piece together.
Here is how we choose. Mum, the daughters, the aunties and a few old friends of the family all try a piece on. We live in it for a day. Then we talk honestly about how it feels. If it does not feel right on us, it does not make it to you.
This is our final restock, and we wanted to start it with the dress that kept coming back to the top of the pile. It is called Florence. It is the dress you would wear to the Saturday market, to pick up flowers and herbs and stop to chat, and still be glad you wore at dinner.

A twist at the waist that does the work
Look at the close-up photo below. The fabric gathers into a soft twist at the waist, with draped folds falling from it. It is a flattering detail that skims over the middle and shows off your shape without clinging to it, and it means the dress looks styled before you have added a single accessory.
